The 37-year-old singer is set to release her new album, Don’t Tease Me With A Good Time, on Friday after returning to music amid her cancer battle.

Jessie underwent a mastectomy in June as part of her treatment for breast cancer, however she later informed fans she would need a further operation.

The two exes

Jessie made a pointed remark on the track Threw It Away, and leaving no doubt about her feelings.

She sings: ‘I put my heart out on the table, that’s when it got uncomfortable. But oh that karma is gonna come one day, cause I gave you my love and you threw it away.’

Jessie continues: ‘Don’t you dare rewrite the story. I’m the beauty, you’re the beast.’She is said to have made no bones about who the song was about; however, she did not directly name Channing.

‘This next song I wrote in 2020 with Ryan Tedder, and you can figure out who I was dating,’ Jessie allegedly said at the event.
