Meghan Markle’s father has sent an emotional message to his daughter following a life-saving surgery where his left leg was amputated.
The 81-year-old was rushed to hospital in the Philippines after he fell ill at home, earlier this week.
He underwent a three hour operation to remove a blood clot after his foot turned ‘blue and then black’.
Meghan’s dad is still in hospital while doctors monitor him but he has issued a desperate plea to his estranged daughter, begging to reconcile with her and meet his grandchildren.
The Duchess explained she has reached out to him amid reports that he’s not heard from estranged Meghan.
According to The Sun, Meghan sent her 81-year-old dad an email. This email address reportedly had not been used for five years, according to the Daily Mail but sources have said the message did deliver and did not bounce back.
