Over the weekend, singer Azawi left fans amused after she jokingly introduced top media personality Kasuku as her “husband” during a performance at a public event.
While interacting with the crowd, Azawi called Kasuku to the stage and playfully revealed him as her husband, a moment that immediately stirred excitement and laughter from the audience.
The joke did not end there. Azawi later took to her social media to address Kasuku’s wife, narrating a light-hearted story about how she was once chased away from a lunch meal by her.
According to Azawi, she reported the incident to Kasuku, and his response was equally humorous.
In her tweet, Azawi shared Kasuku’s words:
“Hey Kasuku’s wife, I told your husband nti wangoba ku kyemisana and he told me, ‘Tofaayo, ojja kufumba ekikyo tulye… I will cook lunch and we shall eat with him nga toliyoo.’”
