We have had all sorts of group nights, but we had not seen one from the Bamasaba, commonly known as “Bagishu”.
A group of influential Bamasaba has teamed up to organize “The Mulembe Night – UG”, UG because there is already a Mulembe Night in Nairobi and USA, both nights bring Bamasaba together.
Mulembe Night UG, however will bring together, not only Bamasaba, but everyone who loves Art and Culture.
“We have teamed up with a group of influential Bamasaba and Friends to bring you the ‘Mulembe Night’; a night of meeting, networking and partying, with an aim to promote Art & Culture in Masaba Land and neighboring societies. The night will officially be launched on Friday, 26th August 2016, at the newly refurbished Club Silk Lounge.” Says Jaq Deweyi; a radio presenter at KFM and one of the organizers.
According to Jaq, the night will also come with a promo CD, promoting both artistes and music from the Eastern region of Uganda.
The night will be hosted by Djs; Sharon, famous for the Rock Night and Teflon from Mdundo.com.
