Sensational Ugandan singer Bebe Cool has said he does not personally know fast-rising singer Tracy Melon as an artist, but he is very familiar with her music and name.
Speaking during the release of his annual “Bebe Cool List,” where he ranks the best-performing artists of the previous year, Bebe Cool explained that Tracy Melon’s songs are widely played across the country.
He noted that although her songs may not be “hit songs” by his definition, they are very common and dominant on club playlists, radio stations, and television airwaves.
“I may not know her as an artist, but I hear her music everywhere,” Bebe Cool said, emphasizing the wide reach of Tracy Melon’s work.
Tracy Melon has been one of the top new artists in Uganda in 2025, gaining strong support from fans and media platforms.
She has released popular songs such as “Kakana,” “Tovaayo,” and “Sumagiza,” which have helped her secure a solid place in the music industry.
Despite the mixed assessment from Bebe Cool, Tracy Melon’s growing presence on airwaves and in entertainment spaces continues to mark her as one of the standout newcomers of the year.
