Musician Big Eye StarBoss has dismissed circulating claims that he’s battling depression after missing out on the National Unity Platform (NUP) flag for Nansana Municipality.
The party instead selected journalist Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa to represent them on the ballot, a decision Big Eye says he fully respected and accepted without any hard feelings.
“I am not a politician but I had come to serve,” Big Eye explained.
“If you get angry, it means you had come to work and not to serve. When I didn’t get the card, it only meant I had to move forward with my agenda — the reason I wanted the card in the first place.”
The “Indicator” hitmaker emphasized that he remains loyal to NUP and continues to participate actively in the party’s activities.
He added that he’s currently on the campaign trail supporting Bobi Wine and other NUP candidates ahead of the 2026 general elections.
