Veteran dancehall star and former Firebase Vice President, Buchaman, has accused Big Talent boss Eddy Kenzo of betraying him despite being the one who helped him start his music career.

In an emotional revelation, Buchaman shared that he discovered Kenzo years ago at Monalisa in Kabusu, where the young artist approached him seeking an opportunity to join Firebase Crew.
“I found Kenzo at Monalisa in Kabusu. He knelt down and told me he was a singer and needed a chance at Firebase. I saw that he sang well, so I took him to Kamwokya and linked him up with Mikie Wine. That’s how they came up with Yanimba,” Buchaman explained.
Buchaman says although he played a major role in Kenzo’s early success, the Sitya Loss star has since abandoned him and failed to include him in government programs that would help him earn a living.
“I feel betrayed. Kenzo told me to come to the Federation and be part of mobilization. I even organized musician associations in Acholi, but I have never received any relief from the Federation’s SACCO,” he lamented.
The singer further revealed his disappointment with unfulfilled promises made through his political engagements, saying he once helped organize the Museveni Election Music Awards alongside promoter Balaam Barugahara, where winners were promised cows that were never delivered.
