Veteran singer and dancehall artist Buchaman has finally opened up about the real reason he parted ways with Firebase Crew, a music group he helped found alongside Bobi Wine.
Buchaman, who served as the Vice President of the crew before pursuing a solo career, revealed during a recent interview that financial disagreements and lack of mutual support led to his exit from the camp.
“We had agreed to have our different shows but support each other even when the shows flop. We promised to show up for one another,” Buchaman explained.
“I was the brand ambassador of the Busabala show and it was me who always did the advert for it, but he didn’t return the favour.”
According to Buchaman, Bobi Wine’s failure to show up for his events despite the agreement caused a growing rift between them.
The singer says the situation persisted until he decided to walk away from Firebase and focus on building his own brand.
