Singer Carol Natongo has finally addressed the chatter surrounding her marriage to Dylan. In the recent times, critics had questioned why Dylan seemed to prefer eating at Papaz Spot rather than enjoying home-cooked meals given that the couple recently had a massive traditional visit and made it official but she was quick to remind them that Papaz Spot, along with H&M Restaurant, is a family business.
“Dylan is their son. He has responsibilities to run or check on a few things that might need his attention,” she explained. Now that she’s part of the family, it’s no surprise that she’s often spotted there too.
The conversation didn’t stop at food. Some people have often speculated that the artist might be older than her husband—a claim she laughed off.
“None of those people have my birth certificate. My husband knows my age like I know his, and we are comfortable,” she said firmly. “I don’t even date men younger than me.”
When asked why she chose Dylan, Carol described him as calm and good-hearted. In her playful way, she even joked about their afterlife together: “I told him that when we both die, I shouldn’t find him in hell with Satan because it would mean God has been bribed. If I found him there, I’d quarrel with God because Dylan doesn’t deserve it.”
For Carol, the noise from critics is just that—noise. “People can talk all they want, but nobody will tell me what to do or make choices for me. I don’t even listen to people’s words anymore,” she said with conviction.
