Singer Cindy Sanyu has congratulated fellow artist Sheebah Karungi for achieving one of the most meaningful milestones any child can offer a parent — building them a home.
Sheebah unveiled her mother’s newly completed house last week in Jeeza, Mityana, a celebration that coincided with her son’s first birthday.
The double celebration drew warm reactions from fans and fellow celebrities, including Cindy, who couldn’t hide her admiration.
Speaking about the accomplishment, Cindy reflected on her own experience of gifting her mother a home.
“That’s good. I remember the happiness I had when I built a house for my mother; it’s such a good thing,” she said.
“It makes you even happier than your mother. Having seen her struggle and she now has a place to call home and no worries about rent.”
Cindy praised Sheebah for the gesture, calling it a major feat and a testament to appreciation, responsibility, and growth.
