Renowned music producer and singer Daddy Andre, born Andrew Ojambo, has once again found love—this time away from the spotlight of the music industry. The versatile hitmaker recently made headlines after making it official with Sylvia Suubi Nandera in a kwanjula ceremony, shortly after their kukyala.

This union becomes his second marriage, following his highly publicized relationship with fellow musician Nina Roz, and his third known romance after previously dating Angella Katatumba.
Speaking during an interview on Spark TV, Daddy Andre opened up about why he deliberately chose not to marry from within the music industry, despite having done so before.
According to the producer, his past experiences taught him that relationships between artists often come with unavoidable complications.
He explained that musicians are constantly juggling endless projects—recording songs, shooting videos, marketing their work, and still chasing management deals. That nonstop hustle, he said, leaves very little room for the stability and peace he now prioritizes in his personal life.
Daddy Andre also pointed out the intense public scrutiny that comes with dating within the entertainment industry.
He noted that once a relationship becomes public, it is subjected to pressure, speculation, and toxic commentary, sometimes forcing couples to stay in unhealthy situations simply to avoid public backlash. He made it clear that this is something he is no longer willing to endure.
Now married, the producer says he is determined to protect his union from unnecessary attention. He vowed to keep his wife away from the glare of the media and shield his marriage at all costs.
“My wife is my expensive thought,” Daddy Andre said, adding that expensive things are always kept safe. He emphasized that while Daddy Andre the artist will remain accessible to fans and the public, his private life—especially his wife—will remain strictly off-limits.
