Rising gently from the sun-kissed sands of Buliisa, Epic Cottages has officially opened its doors, offering a haven where nature and luxury intertwine.
According to Mrs. Justine Musinguzi, the Proprietor of the cottages, “it has not been an easy journey, but every challenge strengthened our vision. Transforming this land into Epic Cottages was about creating a sanctuary where nature and comfort embrace each other.”
The grand launch was graced by dignitaries, industry leaders, and environmental advocates, all united in celebrating a vision that has transformed barren land into a thriving, serene sanctuary.
According to Dr. Edwin Musiime, the Founder, Property Show Africa, “Epic Cottages is a powerful example of what visionary investment in hospitality looks like in East Africa.”
From the moment guests enter, Epic Cottages impresses with its careful harmony of comfort and authenticity. Every corner tells a story: handcrafted furniture, artistic décor by Ugandan artisans, and lush gardens that hum with the melody of birds and butterflies. The cottages are named after Uganda’s National Parks, subtly connecting visitors to the country’s untamed beauty.
Mr. Ian Taylorson, The General Manager noted that, “our goal is simple; deliver excellence in every detail, from guest service to facility management. We have designed an experience where guests feel both exclusivity and warmth.”
Designed for both relaxation and modern convenience, the rooms offer king-size beds, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and large walk-in showers. Private verandahs overlook greenery, creating spaces of intimate tranquility.
Dining is elevated into an art form, with international cuisine prepared by top chefs, whether enjoyed poolside, in the dining hall, or under the stars.
At the launch, the Proprietors, Major General Dr. Ambrose Musinguzi and Mrs. Ambrose Musinguzi, welcomed guests alongside prominent speakers, including Dr. Joseph Kobusheshe, Director of Environment, Health, and Safety at the Petroleum Authority of Uganda, who was the Chief Guest.
Other dignitaries included Mr. Ian Taylorson (Facility General Manager), Mr. Bahebwa Longino (Resident District Commissioner), Eng. Denis Erau (Contractor), and Mrs. Dorcus Rukundo Twesigaomwe (Uganda Wildlife Authority).
With its strategic location just 2 km from Buliisa town and 18 km from Murchison Falls National Park, Epic Cottages provides both access to adventure and freedom from park fees. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, clubhouse with gym, sauna, and spa, or join monthly memberships for wellness indulgence.
