Uganda’s self-proclaimed “smallest rapper” — Feffe Bussi, has some big dreams, and he’s not shy about sharing them. In a one-on-one chat on KFM’s DHook with Aggie Uwase, he opened up about the artists he’s itching to work with — and his picks might surprise you.
First up is Joshua Baraka, the rising star whose sound has been turning heads across the country. Feffe insists it’s not about chasing trends but his desire to collaborate stems from the kind of music that the artist does.
“I admire Joshua’s craft because it’s different from most artists,” he explained, making it clear that his interest is rooted in respect for artistry, not hype.
Then there’s Juliana Kanyomozi — a name that instantly commands reverence in Ugandan music. Feffe confessed he’s been a longtime fan, even though the two have never met in person. His admiration runs so deep that he’s hesitant to slide into her DMs for fear of rejection.
“It would break my heart if she said no,” he admitted. Instead, he continues to drop hints online, hoping Juliana will one day notice and make his dream collabo a reality.
Interestingly, Juliana hasn’t been actively releasing music lately, but that’s exactly what draws Feffe to her. To him, her timeless voice and legacy are worth the wait and whether these collaborations happen or not, Feffe Bussi isn’t just chasing clout but a burning desire to make the kind of music that leaves a mark.
