Football lovers are in for exciting days ahead following the announcement of a new football quiz show. Dubbed The Fifth Official Quiz Tournament, the show is a brainchild of media personality and comedian Tumu Siime. It promises to reward football fans for their knowledge of the sport.
“The Fifth Official Quiz Tournament was born out of my love for football,” said Tumu Siime. “I have worked on radio, television, content creation and podcasting. I have always felt that the people who support the entertainment industry and keep the showbiz machine running should also have a chance to share in the rewards.”
The quiz will follow a standard tournament format. A total of 24 duos will compete in the group stage, divided into eight groups. The winning duo from each group will automatically qualify for the quarter-finals, progressing to the semi-finals and eventually the final.
The prizes are attractive. The winning duo will take home UGX 1,000,000. The runners-up will receive UGX 500,000, while the third-place team will win UGX 250,000.
Registrations are now open and will close on 18th February 2026. Interested participants can send a direct message to @fifthofficialug on social media.
“This will be an exciting and positive way to give young people a platform to showcase their knowledge to an audience of over half a million people on social media, while also winning money,” said Brennan Mwebaze, a Confederation of African Football (CAF) D licensed coach and judge at the quiz.

The tournament also aims to inspire young people. “The quiz hopes to engage the youth in a positive way at a time when many are distracted by negative influences on social media,” said Taremwa Constantine, an educator and judge at the tournament.
The Fifth Official Quiz Tournament and The Fifth Official UG Podcasts are products of TsolHub International Limited, a media, branding and advertising agency founded by Tumusiime Conan. “TsolHub represents a new age approach, fresh skills and creative ideas. We aim to help brands think differently and grow,” the company stated.
