Ugandan musician based in Sweden, Hanson Baliruno was a big winner at Scandinavian music awards held in Stockholm, Sweden on Friday.
The “Titanic” singer scooped four awards at the annual Africa Crown Music Awards including Best Breakthrough Artist, Best Achievement Award of the year, Artist of the Year, and Best Collaboration song.
He has expressed gratitude to his fans and award organisers for the recognition saying that, “I’m humbled and grateful for these awards. Thank you Black community in Scandinavia and African Crown International Music Awards.”
Founded in 2010, the Africa Crown Musik Awards seek to support and promote African Artists who strive for International recognition. They have over the years recognized and awarded several young African artists.
