Ugandan singer John Blaq has revealed why he is not actively involved in the activities of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) like many of his fellow artists.

The “Commander” hitmaker explained that he prefers to let senior musicians take the lead in the federation’s matters.
“Let our elders handle,” John Blaq said, stressing that he respects the experience and leadership of the older generation of artists.
His statement comes at a time when several musicians are actively engaging in the federation’s programs, which aim to promote unity and address challenges within the music industry.
While John Blaq remains supportive of the initiative, he believes his role is to focus on his music career and allow industry veterans to guide the federation’s direction.
