What was meant to be a night of entertainment turned into an embarrassing showdown after singer John Blaq was allegedly left stranded by a Bushenyi promoter who failed to provide accommodation for him and his team.
In the middle of his performance, the “Makanika” hitmaker stopped the show and demanded that the promoter settle their accommodation arrangements, insisting they had nowhere to spend the night. The tense standoff briefly brought the concert to a halt before John Blaq chose to put his fans first and returned to the stage to complete his performance.
Despite the disappointing experience, the singer honored his commitment to fans, wrapped up his set, and immediately traveled back to Kampala with his team after the show.
