Vanessa Nansove of St. Joseph’s Nsambya has been crowned the new Miss Teen 2015/2016. She was announced winner at the grand finale event held at Kati Kati grounds.
Vanessa and her fellow contestants had to first convince judges who included KK, Tattu, Tracy and outgoing Miss Teen Keza Namazzi and tell them why they deserve to be the next Mirinda Miss Teen star 2015/2016.
Luckily, Vannesa went through. Other winners of the day include Kirabo Josephine form St. Mary’s Namagunga who won in the Miss Ambitious category, Irene Nakalembe form Iganga Girls School who she walked away with UGX300K in the Miss Fashionista category. Prizes were handed over by the reigning Miss Uganda 2015/2016 Nakiyaga Zahara Muhammed.
Speaking to us after the event, a Mirinda representative stated; “It’s always a joy for parents to see their children doing good. The Mirinda Miss Teen pageant aims to promote creativity in the youth and help them aspire to reach for their goals.”
APass, Irene Ntale, Mun G. McTalha, MC Kats and Prince Emmah provided the best entertainment for the day.
