Ugandan singer Karole Kasita has announced a temporary halt to performing on Kampala stages as she gears up for her highly anticipated concert at Serena Hotel this May.

Kasita revealed that she will not perform at any other show in Kampala ahead of the big event, choosing instead to channel all her energy into making the Serena concert a standout moment in her career.

The move, she says, is both strategic and personal, aimed at sharpening focus, increasing visibility, and building anticipation among her fans.

Rather than disappearing from the public eye, the singer plans to maintain a strong media presence in the lead-up to the concert. She intends to stay visible across radio, television, and digital platforms, using media as a key tool to keep the buzz alive, even as she steps away from live performances.

Kasita will also be actively engaging with her supporters offstage. She plans to meet fans face-to-face, rally support, sell tickets and tables, and personally convince music lovers why the Serena Hotel concert in May is a must-attend event.

By deliberately withdrawing from Kampala stages, Kasita hopes to create scarcity around her performances, making fans miss her presence and crave the live experience even more.

I will not do any other show in Kampala until 29th May. My last show will be the Galaxy Awards in February. After that, I’ll be on the ground with my fans, pushing ticket sales and fully focusing on my concert. I want all my energy to go into this,” Kasita said.
