It was a battle of salt, chicken, recipes and aroma as 10 finalists in the Kampala Food Network Ugachick Cook Off faced off. The event was held in Naalya on Sunday afternoon.
The first batch teeming with 5 chefs first faced off to a watchful eye of the judges. They prepared their dishes and presented them to the judges for scrutiny. The last batch followed thereafter, cooked, added recipes and, too, presented their dishes to the judges. They had to explain their dishes to the judges.
At the end of the day, Mark Kaheru emerged as the winner of the Kampala Food Network Ugachick Cook Off. He was rewarded with 1million shillings. The cook off was put together by Ugachick.
