Mbarara University of Science and Technology students who put up in Beko hostel are in a state of quagmire after a water problem hit their hostel. The hostel along golf course road in Mbarara with many students has had a water problem for weeks now leaving students no other choice but to use a pit latrine.
“We can no longer host chics since we have no water in the loos and showers,” said a disgruntled MUST student.
Privacy and health issues have also been raised since students are many and sharing one small pit latrine. We hope that management will look into this issue and resolve it with the utmost urgency.
