Nobat Events has issued a public apology to Ugandan music star Eddy Kenzo and other artists he previously abused or disrespected, marking a dramatic shift from the confrontational persona that once defined his online presence.

Speaking during a YouTube podcast, Nobat admitted to past mistakes and said he has undergone personal reform following his remand over a cyber harassment offence.
He revealed that he had often been used by fellow artists to fight their battles, only to be abandoned when he faced legal trouble.
According to Nobat, this period of reflection forced him to reassess his life and behaviour. He said he has since decided to stop engaging in abusive conduct, particularly on social media, where his TikTok Live sessions were notorious for attacking Eddy Kenzo, the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), and Kenzo’s wife.
“Eddy Kenzo is even free to invite me and I help him use the money he has now received from government. My war with Kenzo is over and I’m done fighting him,” Nobat said, emphasising that he has been actively working on himself. He added that his absence from TikTok Live videos is intentional and part of his commitment to change.
Nobat further disclosed that even after his release from prison, he remained angry and continued lashing out at the UNMF leader, but says that chapter is now firmly closed. He insists he has chosen peace over conflict and no longer wants to be associated with online fights.
In a separate revelation, Nobat noted that when promoters recently met President Yoweri Museveni, he was excluded from the delegation. Despite being removed from the list, he says he did not protest or raise any public complaints, viewing it as another test of his new outlook on life.
