While silent disco is commonplace around city bars, the experience is for the first time being taken to campusers in their own comfort — at their hostels. The inaugural edition of the Hostel Silent Disco was held at New Nana Hostel on Saturday.
The highly anticipated shindig did not disappoint, drawing hordes of Makerere students for the one of a kind experience. Revellers started flocking the event as early as 7 pm. To keep them entertained were top city deejays who included DJ Roja, DJ XZYL, DJ Ciza, DJ Jerry, VJ Spinny, and DJ Nyowe among others.
To spice up the evening, Bell Lager, who are the event sponsors, gave out several goodies like free face beats, and also rewarded the best partiers with Bell Brand Ambassadorship deal.
The next Hostel Silent Disco edition will be held at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) on September 23.
