Singer Rahmah Pinky has confidently declared that she is on track to dominate Uganda’s music industry and eventually Africa’s, likening herself to global superstar Rihanna.

Speaking in a recent TV interview, Pinky said she is proud of how far she has come since joining the industry as a teenager. The singer noted that her talent has already made fellow artists uneasy about her rise.
“I joined the industry at 17, and being a grown-up now, watching my journey from a teenager to where I am now, I’m very proud of myself. I met a particular person two days ago, whom I won’t mention, who told me that they are all afraid. They know I’m just still young and just came, but they are all afraid of my voice,” Pinky revealed.
According to her, the only reason some musicians appear unshaken is that the industry still has veterans who have been around for more than a decade. However, she believes her time to shine globally is around the corner.
“I’m going to take over my country and the whole of Africa within three to four years. Watch out and see. We are the Rihannas you people have to look at. You guys have not just seen it yet, but I’m Rihanna,” she said.
Pinky, who has steadily built her career since her teenage years, seems determined to stamp her mark both locally and internationally, promising that the best of her is yet to come.
