Rickman Manrick has revealed his ambitious dream of stepping into the world of football after his planned music retirement in 2028.

The “Ebango Baliwanika” hitmaker says that once he takes his final bow on stage, he hopes to start a new journey — as a football coach.
Speaking passionately, Rickman shared, “I will be going to study football coaching after my 2028 concert because I have a dream of coaching Arsenal. I didn’t make it as a player to play for them, so I’ll coach them.”
A lifelong Arsenal fan, Rickman’s love for the sport runs deep.
Before his music career took off, he was actively involved in football and even played at a competitive level while living in Sweden. Though his music overshadowed his football path, the dream has always lingered.
Beyond Arsenal, Rickman also expressed interest in shaping the future of football back home. He noted that coaching Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC and the Uganda Cranes is also on his wishlist.
As he plans for his final concert in 2028 — dubbed “10 Years of Rickman” — it’s clear that the artist isn’t just retiring; he’s evolving. From stages to stadiums, Rickman Manrick’s next chapter promises to be just as bold as his lyrics.
