Sasha Ferguson has finally spoken out on rumours suggesting she could reconcile with her estranged husband, journalist Canary Mugume, weeks after the couple publicly confirmed their separation.

The young couple’s breakup became public last month after Sasha made a series of emotional revelations on her Instagram account.
In her posts, she alleged that Canary physically abused her while she was pregnant. Canary later responded in a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), strongly denying the abuse claims and insisting that he has always been supportive of his children, despite what he described as limited access to them.
Following the intense public debate around their separation, speculation has continued to swirl online about whether the two might eventually reunite. Addressing some of her followers during an Instagram interaction, Sasha made it clear that reconciliation is not something she is taking lightly.
She explained that given the seriousness of what she has already shared publicly, she must be extremely cautious about revisiting the relationship.
Sasha emphasised the emotional toll of the situation, saying she is seeking grace to move past what she described as deliberate attempts to damage her character.
“I think what is important is to pray for the grace to go past the big lie spread about me in order to assassinate my character and justify the wrong being done in broad daylight,” Sasha said.
She further expressed concern about what she sees as manipulation, adding that someone willing to “play victim knowing the truth” is not a safe person to be with.
Reaffirming her position on personal boundaries and respect, Sasha strongly condemned domestic violence, particularly against expectant mothers.
“They don’t beat a pregnant woman and no woman should ever accept that. Pregnant or not,” she stated.
Her remarks appear to shut down immediate hopes of reconciliation, as she continues to prioritise her well-being, dignity, and the broader conversation around abuse and accountability.
