Ugandan singer Green Daddy has publicly expressed deep frustration and anger toward medical staff at Mulago National Referral Hospital following the tragic death of his newborn child.

Speaking emotionally during a TikTok Live session, the visibly distressed musician raised serious concerns about the treatment of patients—particularly infants—at the government-run facility.
Green Daddy alleged that negligence by health workers may have contributed to the loss of his child.
In the circulating video clips, the singer questioned the state of healthcare services, saying the tragedy forced him to confront harsh realities despite his past support for the government.
“I performed for this government throughout their campaign, from start to finish, because I wanted money, which they fulfilled. However, we are now facing reality,” Green Daddy said while addressing viewers online.
The musician further claimed that on the night his child passed away, there were no nurses on duty, a situation he said also led to the death of another newborn at the hospital.
“Mine is dead now, and if I hadn’t come here to talk, it was just going to be for nothing. I’m a musician, and our job is to raise voices,” he added.
