Singer Spice Diana has come out to express deep sympathy for events promoter Biggie Events, who was recently sent to Luzira Prison over an unpaid loan amounting to Shs 70 million.
Speaking about the matter, Spice Diana described Biggie as a hardworking woman who has always shown kindness and concern for others, revealing that Biggie personally checked on her during her own tough times.
“I don’t know most of her friends, but I know her personally. When I had issues, she called to check on me. I feel sorry for her, and it is too bad. I pray God helps her to come out of it. I feel sorry for a woman who tries to start something for herself, only for it to go sideways,” Spice Diana said.
Biggie Events was remanded to Luzira earlier this week after failing to clear the 70 million shilling loan.
In a show of solidarity, Spice Diana revealed she is planning to visit her and contribute towards settling the debt.
“I saw they want 70 million. That is why I would like to visit her and see what we can do. I also call upon everyone who has worked with her and is her friend to stand with her. Loans are bad. I have huge loans. We do business in loans. You cannot avoid it if you are developing yourself. But too bad for her. I will do what I can,” she added.
