Ugandan music star Spice Diana has offered timely advice to fellow artists, stressing the importance of having a solid management team instead of trying to handle everything alone.
Speaking about professionalism in the music industry, the singer noted that going solo in all aspects of one’s career can be limiting.
According to Spice Diana, every artist needs a management team to handle key responsibilities while the artist focuses on their craft.
“Of course, every artist needs a management. You need a team. I don’t usually advise artists to do everything on their own. It’s not good. You should be professional and have a team that does the work, while you also play your role as an artist,” she said.
Spice Diana also weighed in on working with record labels, explaining that such partnerships can be beneficial if structured correctly. She emphasized that artists should always ensure the terms and conditions of any deal favor them.
“If it’s a record label that you’re comfortable working with, it’s all fine, as long as the terms and conditions favor you, the artist. That’s what matters,” she added.
Reflecting on her own career, the singer admitted that she does not believe in working alone, highlighting teamwork as a key ingredient to success. She further revealed that she will soon be unveiling details about her new management team, sparking curiosity among fans and industry observers.
“Personally, I can’t work all by myself because I believe everything is teamwork. Soon, I will share full details about my new management,” Spice Diana noted.
