Swangz Avenue management has apparently failed to convince Irene Ntale to stay at the label. The singer has thrown in the towel today.
“My dearest Fans and friends, they say time flies, and today seems like one of those days when one takes it in stride to announce that after a lot of contemplation, I am officially departing from Swangz Avenue,” she posted on social media. “I have made my intentions known to my record label and we have both come to an understanding that this is the best move forward.”
However, our sources claim Ntale could have fallen out with the label over remuneration-related issues while other sources suggest the singer has not been happy ever since Winnie Nwagi joined Swangz Avenue.
Meanwhile, the label seems to have found a replacement for Irene Ntale already. Swangz Avenue unveiled a new singer named Vinka, just moments before Ntale announced her resignation.
“The birth of a new star. Call her Vinka.” They officially unveiled her online.
