Singer Uncle Chumi has expressed admiration for fellow artiste Ava Peace and revealed that a collaboration between the two could be on the way.
Speaking during an interview with Daily Soup, the “Gwokute Gwobba” hitmaker had nothing but kind words for the Team No Sleep (TNS) singer, describing her as talented, supportive, and genuinely impressive.
“I like her. Ava even does challenges for my songs. I have no issue with her. She sings well. She looks good. She is beautiful,” Uncle Chumi said.
Chumi went on to share her interest in working with Ava Peace musically, noting that she already has a good relationship with Ava’s manager, Jeff Kiwa, which could make the collaboration easier to pull off.
“We need to do a collaboration with Ava. Manager Jeff Kiwa is my friend,” she added.
However, Uncle Chumi made it clear that if the collaboration happens, it will be different from what fans are used to. She says she is done with remix-style projects and now wants fully original collaborations where each artiste brings their own unique contribution.
“I no longer want to do remixes to my songs. I want to do a collaboration where everyone sings their own stuff,” Chumi explained.
