Uncle Chumi has openly appealed to Sheebah Karungi for a music collaboration, saying she would gladly work with the Queen Karma hitmaker on any project — even a gospel song.
Chumi, who recently enjoyed renewed attention after releasing a remix with Spice Diana, says Sheebah is the next major female artist she hopes can give her a much-needed career boost.
Speaking candidly, Chumi emphasized that she is not interested in remixes this time but wants a completely new song with Sheebah.
The singer also revisited her previously viral moment when she jokingly demanded back Shs 8 million she claimed to have splashed on Sheebah during a bar performance. At the time, Chumi said the money was meant to fund the video for her song Womaniser, sparking debate and amusement on social media.
Clarifying her intentions, Chumi said the gesture was never about money but admiration.
“I supported them because I love Sheebah and Ritah Danchall, but I don’t need the money. Let Sheebah give me a collabo and I’m requesting. I want us to do a new song, not a remix,” Chumi said.
She added that her request is serious and driven by genuine love and respect for Sheebah’s artistry and influence in the music industry.
“I’m asking, dear Queen Sheebah, give me a collabo — even if it’s gospel,” she pleaded.
Whether Sheebah will respond to Chumi’s public appeal remains to be seen
