The wife to the former presidential candidate, Dr Kiiza Besigye is in a rather uncomfortable place right now, since the British government plans to put a halt on Oxfam, a charity organization where she represents as the International executive director.
Refugees from Haiti and South Sudan have complained about sexual immorality by Oxfam officials, who are forcing them into sexual activities in exchange for aid. These have generated prostitution in refugee camps around third world countries.
Winnie has however come out to apologize on behalf of the charity organization, urging the victims to come out and speak up. She has promised that justice shall prevail since Oxfam is against those kinds of crimes. She has however asked that the organization is not cut off as the world badly needs it.
The Harvard University graduate saw it wise to take her heartfelt apologies to Twitter, hoping for the World’s forgiveness.
From the bottom of my heart I am asking for forgiveness.
