Former ISO chief Teddy Ssezi Cheye is no more!
Cheye, according to onlookers, was hit dead by a boda boda while returning from visiting his son at Makerere University Business School in Nakawa, Thursday afternoon.
According to the onlookers, he was trying to cross the road with a bag when the cyclist rammed into him.
Attempts to get Cheye to hospital failed after police arrived only to find him already gone.
Cheye recently handed his freedom after ages in jail, served as a journalist and owned the Uganda Confidential magazine.
He served as director of economic monitoring of ISO.
Cheye is survived by a wife and children.
