Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has asked President Yoweri Museveni to ‘find a solution’ after another deadly assassination of a senior police officer ASP Muhammad Kirumira in cold blood, Saturday night.
Kirumira who has been DPC for Buyende and Old Kampala was gunned down by unknown people near his home in Bulenge, Wakiso District.
Lukwago in an interview with media, said: “President Kaguta Museveni should swallow his pride and admit that the situation in the country has gone out of hand because that is the first step to finding solutions to the problem.”
The Lord Mayor warned: “It is a terrible situation. The question we ask is no longer about who did it or the motive, the question we now ask is who is next.”
