The Luweero Anglican Diocese Bishop Eridard Nsubuga Kironde has welcomed President Yoweri Museveni’s message cautioning youths against expecting miracle wealth from churches.

During his end of year speech at his country home in Rwakitura last evening, President Museveni called on Ugandan youths to work hard and stop running to places of worship to seek wealth.

The President explained that although he was happy that many youth flock churches daily for prayers and it was their freedom to worship, he is totally against them against wasting too much time in places of worship praying to get wealth, further stressing that God helps those that that help themselves and should pray as well as work hard to get rich.

While delivering his message at New Year mass at St Mark Cathedral Church in Luweero town, Bishop Nsubuga agreed with Museveni, urging the youth to understand that there is time for evertyhing.

He also cautioned the youths against engaging in sports betting with hope of getting free money saying this is not trusted source of wealth.
