A man identified as John Owori has been stabbed to death by his wife, Lillian Asasira. The incident occurred this morning at their residence along Garuga road, in Katabi Town Council, Wakiso District.
Asasira, who had just returned home from the New Year crossover service on Tuesday morning, is suspected that the husband had a sexual encounter with their housemaid when she reportedly found them in a compromising position.
Their neighbor Godfrey Kasasa told told our reporter that a fight erupted as soon as Asasira entered the house.
Entebbe Division Police Commander Baker Kawonawo condemned the incident but added that police is considering murder charges against Asasira, who is now detained at Mpala Police Station.
