Police sources say police chief Martin Okoth Ochola has sacked Kayima and replaced him with Fred Enanga who will be deputized by Poly Namaye.
Kayima has been moved to the office of Political Commissar.
His assistant Patrick Onyango moves to Kampala Metropolitan Police as spokesman and will be deputized by Luke Oweyesigire.
