Earlier today a clip and pics of a female traffic officer Namaganda, being beaten and manhandled by Uganda’s Ambassador to Burundi, Major Gen. Matayo Kyaligonza and his body guards spread all over social media , causing a public uproar.
UPDF Spokesperson, Brig. Richard Karemire later came out and condemned the act as regrettable.
“We wish to inform the public that as invesigations into circumstances that led to the Seeta incident continue, UPDF has arrested RA/221607 L/CPL Bushindiki Peter and RA/230927 Pte Okurut John Robert. They are now held at Military Police HQS. We reiterate our commitment to ensuring discipline of all ranks.”, he said.
Now, the humiliated officer, Namaganda has also opened up on what triggered the infamous incident.
