Yesterday evening the people power movement joined a long list of donors at the ministry of health as they handed over their share of contributions to the national task force.
Prior to the hand over in Wandegeya, a Kampala City suburb, the people power movement held a press conference at their head quarters in Kamwokya and announced their massive contribution toward the food relief program targeted to help the vulnerable poor.
Speaking to the media yesterday afternoon the people power mouth piece Joel Ssenyonyi demanded that government ensures all their contributions are delivered to people who desperately need them country wide.
Among the assortments that people power movement donated include 50 bags of posho (Each 50kg),30 cartons of salt and 30 boxes of soap.
While flagging off the people power task force the Kyadondo East Mp Hon Robert Kyagulanyi also appointed Dr. Lina Zedriga Waru Abuka as the new deputy leader of the people power movement
