As hundreds of generous Ugandans continue to adhere to the president’s plea of donating money and food items to the national task force, there is a number of celebrities supposedly having a strong financial base but haven’t made any contributions atleast publicly towards the fight against Covid-19.
Although giving back to society is a personal choice done on free will basis,we felt it necessary to oust the list for the public to know which big money spenders aren’t coming forth to help in the silent battle;
1.Godfrey Kirumira;
After splashing an astronomical amount of money on Rema Namakula’s intro back in November, a number of people expected the chair man of the ‘Kwagalana’ group to come forth with some donations towards the national task force but the strategic business man has been silent since the day Uganda reported it’s first case on the 21st of March
2.Cindy Sanyu
There is no doubt that Cindy made a killer out of her miraculous Boom party concert on the 7th of March. The same fans who supported her fill the gigantic stadium last month are perhaps some where stuck with no dimes to buy food during this lock down. It was expected that the ‘Onina’ hit maker would make some small contribution towards the Task force but sexy the singer has since been silent on the matter
3.Zari Hassan
The South African based socialite is well known for throwing annual white parties in Club guvnor and ultimately making a killer out of them. On top of showing off on social media, the tried and tested business woman spends quite alot of money buying friends and fans free booze in both clubs and festivities. Ever since the outbreak of Corona, Zari has been hiding under her bed
4.Nalongo Don Zella.
Apart from abusing Big Eye and telling the whole world how he mistreated her back in the day, Don Zella has done absolutely nothing in as far contributing to the National task force is concerned. At a time when fans would be proud of her efforts towards helping the poor, Don Zella has intead been busy posting semi nude pics and abusing her ex-boyfriend Big Eye
5.Bad Black.
Well we all know Bad Black is a wasted piece of sausage but with all the monies she embezzled from her then gullible sugar daddy David Green Halgh, some members of the public expected her to atleast come through with some sacks of posho and beans
6.Jack Pemba
Jack Pemba is well known for injecting huge chunks money in both sports and fashion. The strategic business man has always supported the colorful Abryanz and style awards with loads of money. Coming from a background that he helps Young people with big dreams, Ugandans expected Jack Pemba to come out and heed top the presient’s call but as it stands the City tycoon is still mute
7.Judith Heard
Just like Zari, the pencil thin socialite is well known for engaging in a number of charitable events but Ugandans now expect her to come out even more at the time when the government is soliciting money to feed the vulnerable poor
8.Herbert Shonga.
Just like all other socialites, Herbert Shonga is always splashing money in bars and clubs,buying free booze to whoever cares just to get the attention of snoops. Now is the time for him to show that he really cares for his fans. Unfortunately the recently divorced money spender has not positively responded to the cause
9.Frank Gashumba.
Apart from making alot noise on social media and criticizing pastors for not giving back to society, the motor mouthed motivational speaker has done very little to practice what he preaches. Gashumba has folded hands and is busy enjoying his money at home hopefully waiting for the virus to end within a month
10.Rema And Sebunya
Apart from praising her man during the lock down period Rema hasn’t really made any positive contribution to the national task force. Her together with her man shut down the City when they made a mind blowing introduction ceremony.Some of her fans expect the couple to come forth during this time but perhaps the two are still busy looking for a baby
