Over the weekend,Ugandans woke up to an unpaid for drama when singer Jose Chameleon was rounded off by angry URA officials as they demanded that he shows tax documents which prove he paid taxes amounting to 120 millions for his Toyota white land cruiser
The singer was intercepted by tax collectors yesterday evening as he was on his way to perform for the Kabaka of Buganda
Chameleon’s refusal to drive back home to show enforcement officers the documents boiled a heated argument and created a scene as by passers recorded the drama unfolding
However after the bust up Chameleon took to his social media pages and vented out his frustration at the officials claiming that he had the documents at his house in Seguku
”I have all the documents you need,we should stop frustrating each other as we have so much in common at this time. Let’s be comforters to one another.I will avail my documents as soon as the public holidays are over” Chameleon said
