For far too long Bobi Wine’s people power movement has continuously been branded violent, abusive and intolerant partly because majority of it’s supporters are seen to exhibit uncompromising behavior on social media.
There failure to accept the fact that other people who may have different political choices harbor the right to express themselves and share varying opinions on social media has seen the red brigade rapidly create an image of hooliganism among the Ugandan elites
Majority of Bobi Wine supporters have created an extreme hostile environment towards people who come up to question or criticize their leader online
Although Bobi Wine and other leaders within the movement have their part to disassociate themselves from violence and hooliganism, it is ardent people power supporters like Joan Lule a TV presenter at Top media house thatr have gone a long way in justifying the above narrative.
Her unbecoming behavior and complete lack of professionalism while interviewing the reigning miss Uganda while on TV went a long way into showing how intolerant how sonme of thgese people power supporters can be
The mere thought that she aspires to be a member of parliament in 2021 and yet her behaviour reflects that of a moron goes a long way to explain our true values and morals as a country
Bobi Wine should work hard to disassociate himself from such people or less the whole movement might be mistaken for being for violence and radicalism
