East Africa’s biggest country Wednesday registered 30 cases to take their total tally to 284.
The ministry of health has confirmed 2 cases of Tanzanian drivers who tested positive from total sample of 1296.
Director General of Health Services, Dr. Henry Mwebesa named, 43, year old Tanzanian truck driver.
Dr. Mwebesa revealed that he is a contact to a previously confirmed case. And because of his contact with the first case, the ministry has decided to quarantine him at Mulago Hospital.
A test conducted on him tested positive of Covid-19 according to the hospital authorities. He did not have symptoms of Covid-19 during quarantine.
Dr. Mwebesa also confirmed total COVID-19 recoveries are 45. He told media 7 patients who tested negative twice were discharged.
He said 3 were from Mulago Hospital and 4 from Entebbe Grade B.
