Self-styled social and political commenter Frank Gashumba’s statement about his Daughter Sheilah being the most paid TV personality have come back to haunt him.
A few years back Frank Gashumba came out and boldly stated while defending sheilah that NTV was paying her an eye-watering amount of dime for her services. “…Sheilah Gashumba is the most paid TV personality in Uganda…leka nkidemu ne mu Luganda. Ye muntu akola ku TV asinga okusasulwa Mu Uganda…”, he repeatedly said.
Now FB warriors are using Frank’s statement to haunt him after Sheilah coming out to reveal how much she used to earn.
The Sheilah’s revelation come at a peak of the war between NBS TV and NTV. Lil Stunner claimed she was earning just UGX 100,000 per show.
“Even when I did the fashion show on NTV, I was being paid UGX 100K per show. That meant UGX 400K a month yet I was living a million shilling lifestyle. I was literally faking it all through. My makeup was at UGX 80K. That means I was earning 20K per show. Add in transport, add in every other thing, I was paying to be on TV,” Sheilah narrates.
