Police in Luweero have finally nabbed a heartless husband who pierced his wife several times with a knife and left her for the dead.
The incident happened two weeks ago on June 4, and the ruthless man who has since been on the run was captured by police on Thursday evening.
Robert Masinde, a resident of Kamira trading center chopped his wife Jennipher Ajambo following a domestic misunderstanding the two had.
Ajambo , the wife reportedly refused to give the horny husband Masinde her sumbie for a longtime forcing him to react by angrily by stabbing her on the stomach and head to near death.
The mother of Six is currently nursing injuries to the head, stomach, and has had surgery on the left arm at Bishop Ceaser Asili where she has been hospitalized.
Meanwhile, Ajambo’s traumatized 6 children who witnessed the ugly scene playout have been sheltered at a care center – Happy Children Child Care Centre for counseling.
Isah Ssemwogerere, the Savannah Regional Police Spokesperson says Masinde discovered at a hideout in a farm at Kakoola village in Kamira sub-county after a tip-off by residents.
Ssemwogerere says the suspect will be charged with attempted murder.
