Another batch of believers in the NationaL Unity Platform-NUP have on Thursday run to the kamwokya based party headquarters to be ordained as members of the block.
The group constituting councilors from Kampala divisions and musicians are part of the many who have pledged loyalty to the vision of the NUP party president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine.
The councilors include Kampala Capital City Authority-KCCA Speaker, Abubaker Kawalya, Muhammed Segirinya , the Kawempe Councilor, and Lubaga South Woman Councilor.
Others include artis like, Ronald Mayinja of the Golden Band and comedian, Muyonjo Hussein Ibanda alias Swengere .
All-Clad in the dominant Red People Power berets, both the councilors and Musicians were unveiled and given NUP party cards by Bobi wine and the party officials.
The councilors pledged to contest as National Unity Platform during the upcoming 2021 general elections.
This comes a day after nearly 84 Musicians, media personalities and councilors joined the NUP on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Research World International released presidential polls that had put Bobi Wine in the second position with 22% and President Museveni in the lead with 47%.
