Godfrey Aine aka Sodo an aspirant for the Mawoogola North NRM parliamentary seat has cursed minister Sam Kutesa for ruining their hard work and input by instigating the cancellation of the elections in his constituency.
Sodo a brother to President Yoweri Museveni claims it is not his brother that chairs the party but Kutesa that went behind their backs and influenced the Electoral commission to block the polling process.
Sodo while in a Television interview with NTV this morning claims he was shocked by the decision that was announced abruptly by the EC with no prior or official communication given to him.
”This morning I was transporting my agents to the village to guard my votes, and on my way, I got a phone call from the district electoral commission informing me that Tanga Odoi had decided to cancel the election,” he explained

He claims another phone call he made indicated that it was Sam Kutesa that made the call after his daughter Shartsi Kutessa wrote to the EC expressing her loss of interest in the elections and desire for its suspension.
Shartsi has been tussling it out with Sodo for the Mawoogola North Parliamentary seat.
George William Katokoozi, the Sembabule district NRM Registrar announced the suspension of the polls on Friday morning on instructions allegedly from the NRM party chairperson and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

Katokoozi says he has received instructions from higher authorities to call off the elections until further notice.
This follows incidents of violence and chaos in Mawogola North after Niwamanya Haruna, a supporter of Aine Godfrey Kaguta, was last night burnt by unknown people and is currently nursing wounds at Beacof Medical Centre in Sembabule Town.
This becomes the second constituency to have its parliamentary primary elections called off in Sembabule district, after Mawogola West constituency whose polls were suspended on Thursday after a spate of campaign violence.
