Ministry of Health Trashes Reports it Released Wrong COVID-19 Results to 679 Persons

The Ministry of Health-MOH has asked the public to discard information published in a daily newspaper and the web indicating that the falsely announced that 679 persons had tested positive.

In a tweet posted on their page this afternoon it reads;

”disregard the inaccurate and misleading reports by Daily Monitor and the Matooke Republic that is circulating on social media.
Please refer to the Minister’s statement as addressed on Friday, 04th September 2020”

The two published information which has since been deleted on their platforms indicating that the ministry errored in releasing results of the samples tested by giving wrong results to 679 persons.

Now the ministry of health has advised the public not to consider that information as correct and instead backdate to Friday when Minister for health Jane Ruth Acheng gave a statement for the right communication.
