Kagadi police are investigating the death of 2 people of the same family who were hacked by unknown goons on Thursday night at Kitemba village.
The deceased has been identified as Stephen Kiiza 62 and 12-year-old Phiona Asaba and one survivor, 7-year-old Enock Asaba.
It is alleged that the deceased was attacked at about 8: 30 p.m in the night and chopped with machetes on the head, chest, and face.
Kileo Barigye, the head of the family says he survived the attack after he fled the home when the killers attacked.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police spokesperson says the motive behind the attack is still unknown although investigations into the attack had commenced.
The bodies of the deceased persons were taken to Kagadi hospital Mortuary pending postmortem while 7yr old Agaba who was critically injured has been rushed to Hoima Regional Referral Hospital for medical attention.
